Founded in 2025 on Sterling Ranch in Amsterdam, Missouri, DOD began as a casual conversation over drinks between Steve Parks—a retired Navy SEAL with a passion for art and distilling—and the ranch owner. That conversation evolved into a mission: to create handcrafted, meaningful spirits rooted in the land and built by hand.

Every drop is distilled right here on the property. We currently have one distillery in full operation and a second under construction to expand our craft.

Absolutely. We are a family and pet-friendly destination. Dogs are welcome as long as they remain on a leash at all times.

Yes! We are proud members of Harvest Hosts. We offer space for campers and can allow overnight parking if arrangements are made with our team in advance.
